Los Angeles Chargers are third in AFC West with a 2-3 record for the season. They look to get to 3-3 with a home match against the Pittsburgh Steelers who are struggling in AFC North with just one win from their five games played this season. The Chargers are trailing behind Oakland Raiders (3-2) and Kansas City Chiefs (4-1) in AFC West. They had a 12-4 record last year and lost in the Division final to New England Patriots. This season began with an overtime win over Indianapolis Colts but lost their next two at Detroit Lions and home to Houston Texans. The Chargers got back into winning ways with a 30-10 home win over Miami Dolphins but their inconsistent start to the season continued with a 20-13 loss at Denver Broncos who were 0-4 before that game.

Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-4 for the season and only have Cincinnati Bengals (0-5) below them in AFC North. They are only two wins behind leaders Baltimore Ravens but a loss to the Chargers will make it five losses and they only lost six last season. The Steelers got off to a terrible start this season with a 33-3 defeat at New England Patriots. Two more defeats followed to the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers but only by an aggregate total of six points. Their only win this season has come at home to the Bengals. Last week saw them again involved in a tight match as they lost 26-23 overtime to the Ravens. The Steelers will be fielding rookie quarterback Devlin Hodges in for this game with Mason Rudolph still on the sidelines. The Chargers have had their problems this season but they can be backed to get to 3-3 for the season with a home victory.
