It's been a big year for the Kansas City Chiefs with that Super Bowl success last season. They kicked off this season with a 34-20 win over the Houston Texans and will want to keep that momentum going when taking on the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs didn't get off to a good start in their seasonal opener losing the first quarter 7-0. However, they dominated the next two quarters scoring 24 points without reply to take hold of the game. Patrick Mahomes was in top form again and their offense is going to make life difficult for all the teams they face this season. 

The LA Chargers also got their season off to a winning start, with a 16-13 win over the Cincinnatti Bengals. They too had to come from behind to get the win, going into the final quarter seven points down. The Chargers fought back though to win the final quarter 10-0 to get the win. It could easily have gone into over time though but for the Bengals missing a late field-goal attempt. A welcome victory indeed for the Chargers who finished last season 5-11.  They lost all six games last season that were played against other sides in the AFC West. The Chargers lost twice to the Chiefs by seven and ten points. It's a season of all-change for the Chargers though with a new uniform and this is their first match at their new stadium, though without fans. They may have beaten Cincinnatti but this is a massive step up this weekend. Go for the Chiefs to get the win and go 2-0 for the season.
