Lorenzo Sonego vs Holger Rune Prediction & Betting Tips - Sofia Open

World number 45 Lorenzo Sonego is continuing his good form in Sofia. He won the title in Metz last week and now faces fifth seeded Holger Rune in the second round of the Sofia Open. Sonego rose 20 places in the rankings after his title victory last week. He beat Aslan Karatsev, Gilles Simon, Sebastian Korda, Hubert Hurkacz and Alexander Bublik in Metz and didn't drop a set all week. That run of straight sets wins continued in the first round of this tournament with a win over Bernabe Zapata Miralles for the loss of seven games. 

Holger Rune is ranked 31st and the 19-year-old reached the quarter finals in Metz last week. He only had to win one match to do that and the win he got was against Benjamin Bonzi who retired in the second set. Rune lost to Bublik in the last eight, who then lost in the final to Sonego. That was his first quarter final since the French Opena and his best results have come on clay this year. That includes winning a tournament held in Munich in April as well as a Challenger Tour event. The first round of this tournament saw Rune beat Tim van Rijthoven in straight sets. It was a struggle though with both sets going to a tie-break. Sonego is in the best form, back him to win this. A side bet on a tie-break may well be a winner too.
