Taylor Fritz takes on Lorenzo Musetti in the quarter-finals of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. The winner of this match will face either second seed Novak Djokovic or ninth-seeded Alex de Minaur in the last four.

Fritz has never reached the semi-finals of a Grand Slam. He'll be hoping it's fourth time lucky and this is his second quarter-final at Wimbledon in three years. He's up to 11th in the live rankings and a win here will see him rise to eighth place.

His grass court season has been going well so far. He won the Eastbourne title without dropping a set in his four matches. Three sets have been lost on his way to this quarter-final. Monday saw him lose the first two sets against Alexander Zverev before making an excellent comeback.

Musetti beat Fritz on clay in Monte Carlo this year, his first win over the American. He'd lost their two previous meetings and that included one in this tournament two years ago. The Italian is up to 19th in the live rankings and is also having a successful grass court season.

He was a semi-finalist in Stuttgart and then was the runner-up at Queen's Club. He's in his first Grand Slam quarter-final but it's been a struggle to get this far. Four sets were needed to beat Constant Lestienne in round one.

In round two, he needed to win the fourth and fifth sets to beat Luciano Darderi. Another set was dropped against Francisco Comesana and in the last 16, he defeated Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in four sets after losing the first. We go for over 3.5 sets to be played here.
