Lloyd Harris vs Denis Shapovalov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

Third seeded Denis Shapovalov faces qualifier Lloyd Harris in the semi-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships.  Shapovalov is the world number 12 and this is his best run this year. Last week saw him get to the last eight in Doha before losing to Taylor Fritz. Shapovalov has had to play three matches this week to make it to the last four. He is yet to drop a set after victories against Jan-Lennard Struff, 13th seeded Hubert Hurkacz and in the last eight, Jeremy Chardy. He hasn't had a great year but all his losses this year have been to players ranked in the top 40 (two in the top ten).

His opponent in the last four is the world number 81 Lloyd Harris. His parents must be fans of politics as his second name is George, Lloyd George being a British Prime Minister decades ago. History lesson over and onto the tennis. Harris has so far this week beaten top seed (but not in great form) Dominic Thiem and 14th seed Filip Krajinovic. That took him into the last eight where he beat unseeded Kei Nishikori in three sets. It's a bit of an improvement on last week when he lost in the first qualifying round and in Singapore where he lost to a player ranked outside the top 400. His run is about to come to an end, back Shapovalov to make it to the final.
