Linda Noskova vs Coco Gauff Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Cincinnati Open

Qualifier Linda Noskova bids to cause another upset in the Western & Southern Open. The world number 50 takes on the seventh seed Coco Gauff for a place in the last eight. Whoever wins this match will take on either fourth seed Elena Rybakina or qualifier Jasmine Paolini in the quarter finals. Noskova has a career high of 45th but her run to the last 16 of this WTA 1000 hard court tournament has taken her up to 42nd in the live rankings. The Czech had to qualify to get into the main draw and struggled in her first match. Noskova had to come from a set down to beat Magdalena Frech but then defeated Diane Parry for the loss of only four games. Round one of the main draw saw her again lose the first set, this time to Liudmila Samsonova. A great comeback was made though with only four games lost in the next two sets. In the second round, the Czech beat compatriot and ninth seeded Petra Kvitova. It was a similar pattern with the first set lost and then only six games lost in the next two. 

There's only been one previous match between Gauff and Noskova. That was on an outdoor hard court at Indian Wells this year with the American winning in straight sets. Gauff is in form at present and recently won the Washington title. That was followed by a run to the last eight in Montreal where she lost to the eventual winner Jessica Pegula who is her doubles partner. The 19-year-old can move up to sixth in the rankings if winning this match. So far in Cincinnati, the world number seven has beaten unseeded Mayar Sherif, losing just four games. We go for Gauff to win this in straight sets.
