The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to London’s O2 Arena this weekend for UFC Fight Night, headlined by Leon Edwards taking on Sean Brady. ‘Rocky’ has a record of 22-4-0, 1NC, while Brady is 17-1-0. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Leon Edwards will be making his long-awaited return to the Octagon this weekend, having last had a professional bout when he lost his title to Belal Muhammad in July 2024.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a sensational run of 13 straight fights without defeat before losing the title and will be looking for redemption here as he looks to remain in contention for another title shot.
Rocky shot to stardom by bringing an end to Kamaru Usman’s three-year Welterweight title reign back in 2022 and defeated the same opponent to retain the belt six months later.
He then went on to deliver one of his most impressive performances, beating Colby Covington by unanimous decision at UFC 296 in December 2023.
Meanwhile, Sean Brady is steadily making his mark in the UFC and enters this match off the back of consecutive wins over Kelvin Gastelum at the end of 2023 and Gilbert Burns last year.
Those victories took the 32-year-old to a record of 17-1, with his sole defeat coming at the hands of Muhammad back at UFC 280.

Leon Edwards - Sean Brady: Form Analysis
Edwards was initially expected to fight Jack Della Maddalena this weekend but the Australian was hooked from the card and is not set to face Muhammad for the title at UFC 315 in May.
That leaves the former champion at a bit of a disadvantage having prepared for Maddalena, and he will now have to change tactics against a much different opponent in Brady.
The UFC has confirmed that the winner of this match will challenge the winner between Muhammad and Maddalena for the welterweight title next.
The American is much more adept at grappling and is a major threat on the mat as he showed when he submitted Kelvin Gastelum on his penultimate trip to the Octagon.
Edwards, on the other hand, struggled against Muhammad in the wrestling matchup, which is something Brady will be fully aware of coming into this bout.
