The USA are heavy odds-on favourites to win this tournament and have begun with two group wins over Senegal and China. In the process they have scored 187 points and have a points difference of +32. Another win for the Americans who are bidding to win this cup for the third time in a row looks more than likely. They take on Latvia who are odds-on to win the award for unluckiest team in the tournament. They lost their opening fixture 64-61 to China. They lost the first quarter by seven points but had fought back to level the scores by the end of the third quarter only to lose out in the fourth quarter. Next up they faced Senegal and lost by just one point. This time they led by two points going into the final quarter only to lose out.  They can't qualify for the knock-out stages but will again try 100% to cause a shock but this is a far harder task for them. Go for over 157.5 points to be scored in this game.
