Laslo Djere vs Kevin Anderson Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

Laslo Djere is ranked 73rd in the world but has a good chance of winning this first round tie against Kevin Anderson. Djere has won one ATP tour title and that just happened to be on clay. The Hungarian defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime last year to win the Rio Open. Earlier this year, he again showed his ability on clay by reaching the semi-finals of a tournament in Argentina, losing in three sets to Diego Schwartzman.  He got revenge on that player in the recent clay event held in Austria, on his way to the last four. He's made little impact in Grand Slam tournaments so far, but his best performance was reaching the third round at Roland Garros last year losing 8-6 in the final set to Kei Nishikori.

Kevin Anderson is a former finalist in both the US Open and at Wimbledon. The last of those appearances was in London two years ago but he's had a fair few problems since then, He's currently ranked 118th and is in this tournament due to his protected ranking. A series of injuries have blighted the career of the player who was ranked fitth just two years ago. His two Grand Slam events this year have seen him lose in the second round at the Australian Open and in the first round at the US Open. Anderson has never made it past the fourth round at Roland Garros. Of his 11 matches played this year, only four have been won. His best performance has been two last 32 appearances. He's had two warm-up tournaments on clay and didn't win a match in either of them. This looks booked for a win for Djere who is in better form and has good form on this surface.
