Konta vs Denisa Allertova Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Australian Open

British hopes in the Australian Open aren't just all about Andy Murray. Johanna Konta has made it through to the last 32 after straight sets wins over Venus Williams and Saisai Zheng. Only once has she reached the last 16 of a Grand Slam tournament but that was in the last one where she got through to the fourth round in the US Open. Her form has been good in this tournament so far only dropping 11 games so far. Now she takes on Denisa Allertova who is ranked below Konta at number 66 in the world. The Czech player beat Bethanie Mattek-Sands in the first round and then Sabine Lisicki, ranked 33 in the world in the second. Both were won in three sets. Her form last year saw her fail to get past the first round of the last three Grand Slam tournaments but did make round two here last year beating a player ranked outside the top 100 in the last 128.  Allertova did reach a WTA final in China last year beating number two ranked Simona Halep on the way (Konta also has a win over Halep). The pair have only had one previous meeting and that was won by Allertova, that was in the qualifying rounds for the French Open on clay so not too significant here. Since then, Konta has shown a lot of improvement with some big wins over highly ranked players. Konta can get the win here to reach her first Grand Slam last sixteen.
