The hosts are currently in second place in the league standings, while the visitors are third. The Knight Riders have made a positive start to the campaign and are currently on six points after four games, two behind the Rajasthan Royals, though they have played a game more. So far, they have beaten the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals but were unable to keep up their momentum, losing by seven wickets to an inspired Chennai Super Kings on Monday. With the ball, Mayank Yadav has been a revelation in this tournament and has already bagged six wickets in just nine overs. There really is very little to split these two based on form so far, and this match will likely come down to fine margins.
