Kiki Bertens vs Julia Goerges Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Wimbledon Championships

Kiki Bertens takes on 13th seed Julia Gorges and so far has beaten two of the top ten seeds in the draw. The third round saw the 20th seed end the hopes of Venus Williams and she followed that up on Monday by beating seventh seeded Karolina Pliskova in straight sets to complete the wipeout of the top ten seeds.  Only Venus Williams has been able to take a set off her so far in this tournament and it's her best ever performance at Wimbledon having never got past the third round before, all a bit surprising after winning just one match in two grass warm-up tournaments last month. Her best performance this year was winning a clay tournament in Charleston, USA, where she beat Georges in the final. Clay is her best surface so it's a big surprise what's happened at Wimbledon this year but just about everything in this tournament has been a surprise.

Julia Goerges used to play doubles with Bertens but there'll be no love lost when the match starts. Goerges is seeded 13th, the third highest seed left in the draw and her toughest game so far in this tournament was in the third round. She had to go to 10-8 in the final set to get the better of Barbora Strycova who was the 23rd seed. Goerges is having the time of her life in this tournament, she's been playing Grand Slams since 2007 but this is her first ever quarter final.  Last year ended with a win in the Kremlin Cup and she followed that up with a victory in New Zealand. six years after her previous tournament win. Earlier this year she was ranked in the top ten. A tough game to predict for sure. Both previous meetings have been won by Bertens but they were on her favourite clay surface. She's in great form though beating two of the top ten and can make it to the semi-finals with a win here.
