Kennedy Nzechukwu is set to return to the Octagon after just four months, when he secured an impressive first-round technical knockout against Lukasz Brzeski at UFC 310. 

That performance secured him a third-ever Performance of the Night award, but it did little in terms of ranking. At 15th in the division, the African Savage could end up unranked if he loses this bout. 

Still, Nzechukwu has shown time and again that his game plan revolves around a fast-paced and relentless agreesion during the opening rounds, where he aims to secure wins - something that has brought him mixed results. 

Meanwhile, owing to his bout against Rizvan Kuniev being cancelled, Martin Buday last stepped in the Octagon at UFC 310 in June last year when he beat Andrei Arlovski by split decision. 

His only UFC defeat to date came against Shamil Gaziev in December 2023. Interestingly, that loss somewhat showed that Badys is one that is susceptible to an all-out attack from opponents.

Despite this, the fact that he has only been beaten once in the UFC tells you that Buday knows how to survive, and his durability and ability to take fights to the ground could be his biggest assets in this bout.
