Kei Nishikori has been rolling back the years in Hong Kong this week. He takes on fellow unseeded player Cameron Norrie for a place in the Hong Kong Tennis Open semi-finals. Here's our match prediction.

There are no seeds remaining in the top half of the draw for this outdoor hard court tournament. The winner of this match will face either Juncheng Shang or Fabian Marozsan.  Kei Nishikori is back in the world's top 100 thanks to this run to the last eight.

He's only just had his 35th birthday and a belated present has been rising to 91st in the live rankings. He won his last tournament, though that was on the Challenger Tour. This week has produced wins over Denis Shapovalov and third seed Karen Khachanov after losing the first set.

Cameron Norrie is also making his way back up the rankings. He's up to 48th now in the live list but was 30 places 12 months ago. Like his opponent, he ended 2024 well with a run to thef final in Metz.

Norrie had his fair share of injuries but usually plays well in the opening weeks of the season. He's had wins over Learner TIen and Lorenzo Sonego (in three sets) to reach this quarter-final. We tip over 21.5 games in this match.
