Karlovic vs Andy Murray Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

The clay season so far has seen Andy Murray in great form. A win over Djokovic to win the Rome Masters has been the highlight but it's so nearly gone wrong twice for the Scot in the first two rounds. Two games against players outside the top 100 and he's had to play ten sets, what is going on with him? It's difficult to trust him fully until he gets his form going and has a more comfortable win. He's won all six of his previous matches against the 37-year-old Karlovic but they have never met on clay before. Karlovic is a big server and it's noticeable that in five of his six matches against Murray there's been a tie-break and that's a strong possibility here. He's played eight sets in two rounds with five tie-breaks and a final set win over Jordan Thompson in the second round that went to 12-10 in the final set. His form hasn't been great including a last 64 loss to Dennis Kudla in Madrid (all three sets went to tie-breaks!). His best result recently was a semi-final in Istanbul where of the six sets he played in the tournament, six went to tie-breaks.  Murray is no value to bet on at present because of his strange form but this could be another struggle for him with a lot of games played judging by the results and tie-breaks his opponent has had recently, so I go for more than 30.5 games to be played in this match.
