Karen Khachanov vs Thiago Seyboth Wild Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

15th seed Karen Khachanov bids to reach the third round at Indian Wells for the fourth time in five years. He faces qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild with the winner up against either 24th seed Nicolas Jarry or unseed Fabian Marozsan in the last 32. Khachanov is ranked 15th in the world and has already won one hard court title this year. That was outdoors in Doha and this Masters 1000 tournament is also being played on an outdoor hard court. The Russian reached the last eight here in 2019 and would love another deep run this year. He's also got to the last 16 at the Australian Open this year, losing to eventual champion Janik Sinner.

Thiago Seyboth Wild was ranked a career high 65th when this tournament got underway. The main reason for his current ranking is the form he has shown on clay courts. He recently made it to the quarter finals in Rio and took Cameron Norrie to three sets. Wild didn't have the best of South American clay court seasons though, only winning a match in two of the four played. Earlier this year on hard courts he lost both of his matches in the United Cup, lost in the qualifying rounds in Adelaide. He was then reinstated as a lucky loser and lost in round one. Wild also suffered a first round loss in the Australian Open. Just one of his first seven matches this year was won.  He's won three matches to get to this stage and is yet to drop a set but this is far tougher. We tip Khachanov to win this in straight sets.
