Karen Khachanov is one match away from his second successive hard court final. He takes on second seed Alex de Minaur for a place in the final of the Erste Bank Open final. Read our match prediction now.
The Russian has tended to come good at this time of year, most notably when winning the Paris Masters. Last week saw him win the Almaty Open and this week (despite being unseeded) has been going well in Vienna.
He’s had wins over Thiago Seyboth Wild, Brandon Nakashima and on Friday, Matteo Berrettini. Only Nakashima has taken a set off him.
Alex de Minaur is world ranked tenth but can rise a couple of places if winning this match. It'll certainly boost his chances of making it into the end-of-season Tour Finals as he's currently ninth in the Live Race.
The Australian is playing only his third tournament since Wimbledon due to a hip injury. Since making his return, he's reached two quarter-finals and now this last four appearance in Vienna.
This week has seen him come from a set down to beat Jan-Lennard Struff, defeat Flavio Cobilli (who retired in set two) and in the quarter-finals, Jakub Mensik after losing the first set on a tie-break.
