Second seed Andy Murray and unseeded Jordan Thompson will on Saturday meet in the semifinals at the Surbiton Trophy. Jordan Thompson is only two wins away from defending the title he won last season. He has been dominant in his title defence and has won his three matches without dropping a set. Compatriot Rinky Hijikata was the latest to fall under his racket in the quarterfinals. This was in the quarter-final tie with Jason Kubler where he was forced to come from a set down to win. The win was his 16th in 25 matches played so far. It however did not boost his world ranking as he is down 13 places to 56th in the live ranking. This is after he lost 150 ranking points. The winner of this match will play either Jurij Rodionov or Zizou Bergs in the final.
