John Millman vs Andy Murray Prediction & Betting Tips - Wimbledon
by in ATP Wimbledon Championships Predictions
It's all going rather well for Andy Murray and it'll be even better for him if Novak Djokovic can't recover against Sam Querrery. He has his own work to do though and takes on Australian John Millman in the third round bidding to reach the last sixteen of the men's singles. The pair have only met once in the past, that time it was Millman who had home territory when Murray beat him in straight sets in the 2013 Australian Open. Murray has been in consistent form over the past few months with wins in Rome and at Queens. Three is his magic number at the moment as he looks for his third Grand Slam final of the year and his third Grand Slam title. It's all been fairly straightfoward so far and it should continue here. He only dropped six games against Lu and looks as home on the grass as ever. Millman has had a real battle to get this far. He had to come from two sets to one down to get past Albert Montanes in the first round and then beat 26th seed Benoit Paire in four sets to get this clash with the world number two. This is only the second time he's made it to the third round of a Grand Slam. He's had lots of injuries in his career nearly causing his retirement. He's broken into the top 100 but Murray has more than enough here to beat him in straight sets.
