John Isner may be ranked in the top ten in the world but that certainly isn't based on his performances in Grand Slam tournaments. In a long career he has only ever reached one Grand Slam quarter-final and that was at the 2011 US Open. He has had plenty of success in Masters 100 tournaments and won the Miami Open earlier this year. Considering he is such a big server, it's strange to see that this is the first time he's reached the last sixteen at Wimbledon. So far he has had two straight sets wins but had to go to the final set to dispose of Ruben Bemelmans. He has momentum though and could well get through to his second Grand Slam quarter-final and his first at Wimbledon.

His opponent has already made history by becoming the first Greek player to get this far in the men's singles at Wimbledon. He could well be the future of the game as he's only 19 and the third youngest player in the current top 100 rankings.  The Greek is the 31st seed for this tournament and this is the first time he has made it past the second round of a Grand Slam tournament. He's beaten two qualifiers so far and his other match saw him have to go five sets to get the win over Jared Donaldson. His best performance this year was reaching the final of the Barcelona clay tournament where he lost in the final to Rafael Nadal.  The pair have only met once before with Isner winning in Shanghai. Isner's serve is going to be the key to this match and he can get the win here.
