Jessica Pegula vs Coco Gauff Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Doha

It's been a busy week so far for both Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula. The pair meet in the last four of the WTA Finals and have also teamed up together in three doubles matches. That includes a match on Saturday so it's double duty today for them. Jessica Pegula is the world number five and can only climb up to fourth if winning this tournament. This is her first time in the knockout stages of the WTA Finals and so far this week the American has won all three of her matches. Wins have come against Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka and Maria Sakkari and all without a set being dropped. There have been three previous matches against Gauff, two of them this year. Coco won the match played on grass but more recently, Pegula got a hard court victory over her doubles partner in Montreal. The other meeting was last year (also on a hard court) with Pegula getting the win.

Coco Gauff finished second in her round-robin group trailing behind Iga Swiatek. The 19-year-old began the week dropping just one game to Ons Jabeur. A straight sets defeat to Iga Swiatek followed and then she found herself a set down to Marketa Vondrousova in her final group match. Gauff won a second set tie-break to level the match and then won the decider 6-3. The American is ranked third in the world and will stay in that position regardless of how this tournament progresses. This should be a tight match and we believe Pegula can get the victory.
