Jennifer Brady vs Angelique Kerber Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA US Open

The US Open continues to see surprises and at least in terms of seedings, another one is likely here. American Jennifer Brady is seeded 28th but is our tip to beat 17th seed Angelique Kerber. Brady has shown good form since the WTA season resumed last month. Brady is ranked 41 in the world but recently won the Top Seed Open, beating Jil Tiechmann in the final. On her way to that title, Brady beat Coco Gauff. She lost early on in the Western and Southern Open, but that game came only five days after that title triumph. She's back in good form this week though and has so far won three matches for the loss of 14 games and no sets dropped. The third round saw her defeat Carolina Pliskova, who had beaten number one seed Karolina Pliskova in her previous match. It's a big improvement for Brady who had been beaten in the first round of the last three Grand Slams she has competed in. It is the second time that she's made the fourth round of the US Open and has a great chance of reaching her first Grand Slam quarter final. 

Angelique Kerber is number 23 in the world but seeded 18th in this tournament. Not since winning the title at Wimbledon in 2018, has the German made it past the fourth round of a Grand Slam. Kerber won this title in 2017 but has struggled here since then with two first round losses. Three tournaments this year have seen her fail to get past the last sixteen but she has made it to that stage in this tournament without dropping a set.  This is her first meeting with Brady and the tip is to go for the American who has shown better form in recent weeks.
