Jannik Sinner vs Tallon Griekspoor Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

We are in the penultimate stage of the Rotterdam Open where on Saturday world number 14 Jannik Sinner and wildcard Tallon Griekspoor will face off in the second semifinal of the day. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two where the winner will advance to the final to take on either sixth seed Daniil Medvedev or world number 28 Grigor Dimitrov. Sinner has been in fine form to start the year and has already won a title by winning in Montpellier. The Italian is on a seven-game winning run and has dropped just one set in that stretch. After dropping his only set in the first round against Benjamin Bonzi, Sinner has been on a tear and defeated first seed Stefanos Tsitsipas and former Rotterdam Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets. The win over Tsitsipas is the biggest of his career. The 21-year-old also made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open for the first time where he was eliminated by Tsitsipas. He is up to 12th in the live ranking and fifth in the live ATP Race.

Tallon Griekspoor has also claimed a title in 2023. He started his season in Pune and advanced to the final where he came back from a set down to beat Benjamin Bonzi. After starting the season in 95th place, the win in Pune saw him move more than 30 places up to 61st. He is up to a career-high 40th place in the live ranking thanks to his semifinal berth here. He made it to the third round at the Australian Open for the first time but was also eliminated by Tsitsipas too. He will be hoping that home support enables him to win it all in Rotterdam where he has looked impressive with only one set lost in his three matches. He beat compatriot and fellow wildcard Gijs Brouwer 2-0 in the quarterfinals and came back from a losing position to defeat eighth seed Alexander Zverev 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the second round.
