Jan-Lennard Struff is up against Corentin Moutet in the second round of the Olympic men's singles at Roland Garros. For the winner, their seeded opponent in the last 16 is ninth seed Tommy Paul. Both these players are unseeded, read our prediction of who'll win.

Struff had been preparing to take on fifth seed Alex de Minaur in round one. Then his Australian opponent withdrew due to a thigh injury. Instead, the German faced Francisco Cabral from Portugal and beat him for the loss of only four games.

He's 35th in the live rankings but Struff was inside the top 32 earlier this year. His career high is 21st and that was achieved last year. He's playing in the Olympic Games for the third time in his career. If winning this match, he'll be in the last 16 for the first time.

Struff has won one clay court tournament this year, that being won in Munich. He showed his well-being on this surface with a recent run to the last four in Gstaad. He's had two previous matches against Moutet and it's 1-1 but his win came on clay.

Corentin Moutet will have the French fans cheering him on at Roland Garros. He had a tougher first round match and needed three sets to beat India's Sumit Nagal. After winning set one, he lost the second and had to go to 7-5 to win the decider.

Moutet is 69th in the live rankings and this is only his second tournament since the French Open where he reached the last 16. He took the first set off Jannik Sinner before only winning six games in the next three. His best result on clay this year came in Santiago where he made it to the semi-finals.
