Jan-Lennard Struff vs Frances Tiafoe Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Stuttgart Open

Third seed Frances Tiafoe and unseeded Jan-Lennard Struff will face off in the final game of the Stuttgart Open on Sunday. For Struff this will be the second final of the season and second overall at tour level. He has lost five of the last six finals he has contested across the top two tiers in the ATP. To advance to this final, he came from a set down to defeat fourth seed Hubert Hurkacz 2-1. That extended his win tally for the year to 40 from 55 matches with four of his victories coming on grass. Struff rarely finds it easy on grass; he has finished with a winning record on the surface only twice since 2010. However, His performance here will have him confident going into this match. Tiafoe and Struff have played each other twice before and each has one win though they have never battled on grass. Struff is currently ranked 21st in the live ranking.

Frances Tiafoe is ranked 11th in the ATP live ranking. A win over Struff will see him break into the top 10 for the first time in his career. The American has played one Singles final so far this season and won the US Men’s Clay Court Championship. This was only the second tour title of his career and came in his seventh final. A disappointing return for him but he should be confident of getting the job done on Sunday. Tiafoe has been in fine form in 2023 and has so far won 26 of the 35 matches he has played. He has dropped only one set in Stuttgart. Despite that, he has looked shaky, with 79 games played in his three matches. His last match saw him edge out qualifier Marton Fucsovics in straight sets.
