Jan-Lennard Struff vs Alexander Bublik Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

Jan-Lennard Struff is not a player that the seeds want to be facing at Roland Garros. He's unseeded and faces the 19th seed Alexander Bublik in round two of this outdoor clay court tournament. For the winner of this match, their third round opponent will be either 11th seed Alex de Minaur or unseeded Jaume Munar. Struff has been in the top 32 for most of the year but was 41st at the start of this tournament. Round one saw him get a straight sets win over Roman Andres Burruchaga and only six games were lost. Struff has won one ATP Tour clay tournament this year with success in Munich's BMW Open. He's also reached the last 16 in Madrid where he only lost to Carlos Alcaraz in three sets. His form at Roland Garros is impressive and he's twice reached the fourth round.

Alexander Bublik has played at Roland Garros on seven previous occasions and is yet to get past round two. In the past three years he's lost in the first round twice. That was avoided this year when he beat qualifier Gregoire Barrere in straight sets losing only six games. This will be a lot tougher though against the in-form Struff. Bublik trails his opponent 2-1 in previous meetings. Their only match on clay was played six years ago with Struff winning in straight sets with Bublik only winning five games. His form this year has been much stronger on hard courts with a title won and another final reached. On clay, he did get to the last four in Lyon but didn't beat anyone ranked in the top 50.
