An unseeded player will make it into the last eight of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna. That's because in round two, qualifier Jakub Mensik takes on unseeded Miomir Kecmanovic. Read our match prediction below.

Mensik was at a career-high 51st in the latest ranking list. He's set a new record this week and is up to 48th in the live list. The 19-year-old was the top seed in qualifying and won both of his matches in straight sets for the loss of 12 games.

That took him into the first round where the Czech defeated eighth-seeded Alexei Popyrin in straight sets, needing a tie-break in the first. Mensik reached the quarter-finals of the Shanghai Masters in the last tournament with wins over Andrey Rublev and Grigor Dimitrov.

Miomir Kecmanovic is the world number 58 and also had a straight sets win in round one. He beat Mariano Navone for the loss of six games. The Serb also made it to the quarter-finals in his last tournament.

That was in the Stockholm Open where he was eventually beaten by Tommy Paul. That ended a run of seven tournaments in which he had failed to win two consecutive matches. We tip Mensik to win this match.
