A spot in the NFL Playoffs is on the line in the final week of the regular season when the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Tennessee Titans at EverBank Field for this Saturday night kickoff. We have a classic “win and you’re in” situation as the winner of this game wins the AFC South division and thus entry into the postseason. Jacksonville stormed up the standings in the final weeks of the season thanks to four straight wins, giving them the division lead with a record of eight wins and eight losses. The Jags are coming off a blowout 31-3 win over the Texans in their previous game, the second consecutive game that the defense has held the opposition to three points and the third in the last four games that the offense has scored over 30 points. They’ll be hoping for a similar performance which saw them run out 36-22 victors when the two teams met in Tennessee back in December.

Looking to upset the odds and sneak their way into the playoffs are the visiting Tennessee Titans. The Titans are on an awful run of form which has put their 2022/23 playoff hopes on the brink. They’ve now lost six consecutive games following the team’s 27-13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the previous week which highlighted yet again Tennessee's offensive deficiencies. The Titans’ 13 points marks the fifth time in the last six games where they’ve failed to score more than 20 points. They also rank in the bottom five teams in the NFL in terms of points per game at 17.6 and the button three in terms of total yards per game at just 295.8. They come into this one as significant road underdogs as they look to stop one of the NFL’s in-form sides.
