Jack Sock vs John Millman Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

World number 162 Jack Sock has received a wild card to play in this Indian Wells tournament. In the first round, he's up against Australian John Millman who is ranked 58th. Sock is a former world number eight but that was four years ago. Injuries have caused his drop down the rankings but he's on the way back. This year began with the American ranked 253rd in the world. He's spent part of the year on the Challenger Tour and reached a couple of quarter finals before winning an event in Little Rock five months ago. Back on the ATP Tour, he got to the last eight in the Hall of Fame grass court tournament and the last 32 at the US Open. Sock took a set off Alexander Zverev but retired in the fourth set.  This is his first match since that Grand Slam.

John Millman has seen his world ranking fall 20 places this year. Not surprising as he made a terrible start to the year with just two wins from his first eight matches. His form improved in April with a quarter final on clay in Munich. He was lucky though as he trailed Guido Pella by a set before his opponent retired. Millman continued to struggle but then reached the last eight in Washington and in Kazakhstan at the end of September. Sock reached the quarter finals here in 2017 and is the tentative choice to win this match considering his opponent's inconsistent year.
