Unseeded Jack Draper attempts to win the Adelaide International. He takes on the seventh seed Jiri Lehecka in what is his second ATP Tour final. The other was in Sofia two months ago but he lost that one to Adrian Mannarino. The British player is up to 54th in the live rankings and will rise to 47th if winning this match. That'd be only nine places below the career high he achieved before being injured. Draper will want to get a big boost before he begins his Australian Open campaign against Marcos Giron. The 22-year-old has had wins over Sebastian Baez, Miomir Kecmanovic (after dropping the first set), top seed Tommy Paul (who he could meet in round two of the Australian Open) and in the semi-finals, eighth seeded Alexander Bublik in straight sets. 

World number 32 Jiri Lehecka is up to 26th in the live rankings and that's a new career high. A win over Draper will take him up to 23rd place. The Czech lost both of his singles matches in the United Cup but did show some good form when taking a set off Novak Djokovic. He has had a tough route to this final which like his opponent is his second ATP Tour title decider. The other was in Winston Salem last August when losing to Sebastian Baez. Lehecka had to go to three sets to get past Dusan Lajovic in the last 16 but has since beaten two seeds, Nicolas Jarry (second) and Sebastian Korda (third) losing only three games in his semi-final. That's good form and we tip him to beat Draper.
