15th seed Holger Rune bids to reach his fourth ATP hard court semi-final of the year. He takes on unseeded Jack Draper in the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters. Can he make it through? Find out in our match prediction.

For  the winner, there's a last four match against either fifth seed Hubert Hurkacz or unseeded Frances Tiafoe. Rune is the world number 16 but will climb a place if winning this match. In the Live ATP Race, he's already 15th and will be 14th if beating Draper.

The 21-year-old is yet to win a title this year. His only final came on this surface in Brisbane right at the start of 2024. To reach this quarter-final, he's beaten Matteo Berrettini after losing the first set and Nuno Borges but then ran into trouble against Gael Monfils.

Fresh from beating Carlos Alcaraz, the Frenchman took the first set against Rune. He couldn't cause another shock though and only won seven games in the next two sets. This is his first match against Jack Draper.

The 22-year-old Brit is up to a career high 24th in the live rankings. He can move up another place if reaching the Cincinnati semi-final. Draper had lost his last two matches before this tournament. Last week, he lost to Jordan Thompson in Montreal.

He has struggled for consistency of late, failing to win twice in each of his last three tournaments but has come good this week in Cincinnati. Wins have come against Jaume Munar, ninth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas and Felix Auger-Aliassime but all in three sets.

This could be a close match and we believe it will go to a final set.
