Carlos Alcaraz’s incredible journey at the BNP Paribas continues! The Spaniard is set to face British number one Jack Draper in the semi-finals in what will be their fifth meeting. Read on for our prediction.

There are multiple barriers Draper will be playing to beat here. First, this is his first Masters semi then he has already lost twice this season against top-10 players.

One of those was Alcaraz at the Australian Open so he will be angling for revenge here, despite having won only seven of 22 matches against top-10 ranked players. To get here, the Brit saw off Ben Shelton in straight sets.

Alcaraz showed signs he wasn’t at his best in the quarters, but Indian Wells has been his stomping ground. As expected, he rose through the challenge of clay specialist Francisco Cerundolo in straight sets to book this date.

Leading 3-1 in head-to-head numbers, the Spaniard is a favorite once again. A winner of the last two Indian Wells titles, Alcaraz beat Draper on his way to the 2023 gong.

This marks the fourth time the two face off on a hardcourt and Alcaraz won all the previous three. His record at Indian Wells stands at 20-2, having only lost to Andy Murray and Rafa Nadal in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

The winner here will face Holger Rune or Daniil Medvedev in the final.
