Jack Draper is the only unseeded player left in the Adelaide International. The British player faces eighth seeded Alexander Bublik in the last four of this hard court tournament. For the winner, there's a title decider against either third seeded Sebastian Korda or seventh seed Jiri Lehecka. Draper was ranked 62nd at the start of this tournament and is up to 60th in the live rankings. A win over Bublik can take him as high as 53rd, still 15 short of his career high. Draper has been making his way back up the rankings after missing time on court due to injury. The 22-year-old is playing his first event of the year and in the quarter finals beat top seed Tommy Paul for the loss of just five games. Before that big win he'd beaten Sebastian Baez (losing only four games) and Miomir Kecmanovic. The latter was much tougher as he went a set down and then won the next two via tie-breaks.

Alexander Bublik was ranked 31st when this tournament began and is 26th in the live list. Beating Draper would take him up to 24th and that would be a new career high. The 26-year-old is also playing his first event of the year and unlike his opponent will be seeded in next weeks Australian Open. Bublik has dropped sets in two of his three matches this week. Round two saw him have to come from a set down to beat Dan Evans. In the last eight he beat fourth seeded Lorenzo Musetti, losing the middle set. He's had two previous matches against Draper and the score is 1-1 but both were played on grass. We tip Draper to continue his good form and win this match.
