The main event at UFC Fight Night 250 will see the legend Israel Adesanya going toe-to-toe against Nassourdine Imavov in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 1. "The Last Stylebender" is the second-ranked fighter in the Middleweight division while "The Sniper" is ranked number five. Let’s get into the match prediction!

For the first time in almost five years, Israel Adesanya will not be stepping into the Octagon to fight for the title - instead, he is fighting for an opportunity to redeem himself after back-to-back defeats. 

"The Last Stylebender" lost the title to Sean Strickland in 2023 and went down via submission to current champion Dricus du Plessis last year - results that took his pro record to 24-4-0. 

While Izzy has faced criticism in recent times, there is no denying his class as an elite-level kickboxer, and this could be the perfect way to begin his journey back to the top of the division. 

However, standing in Adesanya’s way is Nassourdine Imavov, who enters this bout following three consecutive wins which improved his overall pro record to 15-4-1. 

“The Sniper” is a much more well-rounded fighter than Izzy and traded blow-for-blow with Strickland back in 2023 but lost by decision. Notably, he has never lost a fight by KO/TKO. 

Imavov is six years younger than the former champ and has already copped a few big scalps in Jared Cannonier, Joaquin Buckley, and Edmen Shahbazyan. A victory here could be a career-defining month for the 29-year-old.
