Ireland have a new coach for this season's Six Nations Championship. Andy Farrell is the new man in charge and he'll hope to get off to a winning start at home to Scotland. Ireland have won five of their last six games against the Scots in this championship and last year went to Murrayfield and won 22-13. They confirmed their superiority over them with a 27-3 win in the pool stages of the World Cup. All didn't go well for Ireland in that tournament with a loss to Japan in the pool stages and a quarter final hammering by New Zealand. They hope for a revival under Farrell and have Johnny Sexton as captain but Rob Kearney has been left out of their squad.
Scotland haven't won in Dublin since 2010 and had a poor and frustrating World Cup as they failed to make it out of their pool. Would they have beaten Japan to qualify? We'll never know. Their preparation hasn't been ideal after the suspension of Finn Russell. With Darcy Graham out injured that's another blow for them. This looks booked for a home win, go for Ireland on a -9 point handicap.
