Ireland vs New Zealand Prediction & Betting Tips - Test Matchs
by Steve Ashfield | in Rugby Predictions
Six Nations champions Ireland are home to New Zealand on Friday. It promises to be a great occasion and the Irish side will be out for a spot of revenge in this home international fixture. They were beaten by the All-Blacks last year and that ended their World Cup hopes. Since that defeat, the Irish side has won a second successive Six Nations title and they continue to be a very difficult team to beat in Dublin. Only England beat them in the Six Nations and that was a game played at Twickenham that the Irish side only lost by a single point. Another close match may be on the way here.
They have lost their last four matches against New Zealand but will be buoyed by the problems the All-Blacks had against England last weekend. They only won that match by two points and would have lost but for a late penalty goal miss by George Ford. Who'll win this weekend? Read our match prediction,

Leinster prop Tadhg Furlong will miss the match due to a hamstring strain but is expected to be back for next week's match against Argentina. Finlay Bealham comes into the side and Tom O'Toole will be on the bench.
The Irish will be captained by their number eight Caelan Doris. There's no place in the starting line-up for former captain Peter O'Mahoney who will start the match on the bench.
New Zealand will make two enforced changes for this trip to Dublin. Beauden Barrett and Codie Taylor were both injured in last weekend's win against England. That means places in the starting line-up for Damian McKenzie and Asafo Aumua. Stephen Perofeta and George Bell ttake their places on the bench.

Our Ireland vs New Zealand Prediction
Ireland top the world rankings and have already had a win over second placed South Africa in the summer. Now they host third-ranked New Zealand looking to avenge the loss to them that ended their 2023 Rugby World Cup campaign.
The Shamrocks have had a solid year with another Six Nations triumph with four out of five games won and no home losses. They continue to be a tough team to beat in Dublin and won their last home match against the All-Blacks. New Zealand only just managed to beat England last weekend and it could easily have been a defeat. Our main Ireland v New Zealand prediction is Ireland to win and lead at half and full time.
