Ireland vs New Zealand Prediction & Betting Tips - Test Matchs
by Indran | in Rugby Predictions
Ireland welcome New Zealand to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin for this Autumn International Test match. The Irish had a hugely impressive 60-5 victory over Japan in their last match. They well and truly avenged their World Cup loss to the Japanese. Johnny Sexton was at his mercurial best in his 100th test and he will again be the key man against the All Blacks. The Irish team have an impressive home record having lost just once in their last fourteen matches at the Aviva Stadium. New Zealand were the team that Ireland could not beat but finally achieved their first ever victory in 2016 at Soldiers Field in Chicago. They have since beaten the All Blacks on one more occasion in 2018 at the Aviva.Ireland with their full strength team will fancy getting another victory as the New Zealanders are still chopping and changing looking for the right combinations ahead of the 2023 World Cup.
New Zealand have had a great start to their Northern hemisphere tour with big wins over Wales and Italy. Ireland will no doubt provide a sterner test and they will be wary that they have lost two of the last four matches against Ireland. Their last match between the side ended in a crushing 46-14 win for New Zealand. The visitors have only lost once in their last fourteen matches across all competitions with that loss coming against South Africa in the Rugby Championship. New Zealand went past the record of most points scored in a calender year and this was helped by them scoring over a century of points against Tonga and the USA respectively. One of the highlights of the match will be Beauden Barrett up against Johnny Sexton as both players recently became test centurions.
