Ireland were strongly fancied to win the Six Nations Championship in World Cup year but suffered a surprising home loss to England in their opening game. They have bounced back well from that defeat with a win away in Scotland and then traveling to Italy for another win. They now host France who they have beaten in five of their last six meetings. They haven't lost at home to France since 2011 and will be confident of another win here.
France saw their Six Nations campaign get off to a good start as they took a commanding lead at home to Wales. It all went wrong for them after that though as they lost the game and then suffered a heavy loss away to England. The French side finally got a win when beating poor travelers Scotland in Paris. They will find it difficult in Dublin though and the tip here is for an Irish win.

Ireland still have an outside chance of winning the Six Nations Championship after their poor start. They trail leaders Wales by three points and are a point behind England. Their last game is away to Wales and if the Irish can win their final two matches and get some bonus points, they might just do it. They have to beat the French first and with home advantage, momentum from two wins and the inconsistency of the French, they can get the win here.
