Ireland host France in the Six Nations tournament this weekend. It's a vital match for both countries with Ireland top of the table and France in second place. The Irish side are three points ahead of Les Bleus. Here's our match prediction.
A win for Ireland will end French hopes of winning the 2025 Six Nations. Ireland could even win the title on Saturday if England (currently four points adrift) fail to beat Italy in their weekend fixture. They don't just have the Six Nations title as a target this year. Their first three games have been won and with Italy to play after this match against France, a Grand Slam is a possibility.
France will want to end those hopes this weekend. They have won two of their three matches, the other a loss away to England by just a single point. A win in Dublin will see them go top of the table with a final match at home to Scotland. It really is do or die for them this weekend.

Ireland - France: Form Analysis
Ireland are chasing another Grand Slam after beating England, Scotland and Wales. That has already secured them a Triple Crown and they have France and Italy to face in their final two games.
Emotions will be high in Dublin.
This will be an emotional match for O'Mahoney, Murray and Healy who will be playing their final home game for Ireland before retiring from Test rugby. Ireland have won their last two matches against France by an aggregate winning margin of 34 points.
Four of their last five home games against France have been won, with the last loss in 2021.
France have to avoid defeat in this match to retain any hope of winning the Six Nations title. It's a frustrating position for them as they have a points difference of +91 after big wins over Wales (43-0) and Italy (73-24). Five of their last six games have been won but that loss to England could prove costly.

Ireland & France Squad Analysis
Ireland have had good and bad news this week on the injury front. Their captain Caelan Doris will be able to play against France. However, Mack Hansen will not be fit enough due to a quad injury for this match.
Doris will be earning his 50th cap after recovering from the knee injury that ruled him out of the Wales match. Hansen has been replaced with Jamie Osborne and that's a risk for the Irish side. He's previously played on the left wing for Leinster but never the national side.
Rob Herring will be playing at hooker and Dan Sheehan will start the match. Garry Ringrose is another absentee as he's suspended so Bundee Aki returns with Finlay Bealham at tight-head prop. There's a 6-2 split on the bench for this match compared to 7-1 for France.
Ntamack and Penaud are back for France.
France welcome back Damian Penaud and Romain Ntamack for the trip to Dublin. Penaud will be playing on the right wing and has scored in both of his last couple of games against Ireland. He needs one try to equal Serge Blanco's record of 38 for France.
Natamack is fly-half again after serving his suspension. He's missed the last two games and his partnership with Antoine Dupont will be crucial in this match. Thomas Ramos will move to full-back and there's no place for Theo Attissogbe and Leo Barre.
