Ireland vs Canada Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup

Ireland are ranked sixth in the world and  have a good chance of winning this group having beaten both France and Italy in the 2015 Six Nations tournament which they won.  Before the tougher games ahead they begin their campaign with a game against Canada who are ranked 18th in the world  Ireland have never lost to Canada and beat them 40-14 last time they met two years ago. Ireland are a team capable of doing really well in this tournament and will be looking to get off to a confident start against the Canadians.  Canada have never got past the group stage in the World Cup and simply don't get positive results against the best teams in the world.  They aren't in the best of form this year and come into this tournament after a disappointing Pacific Nations Cup. The Canadians lost narrowly to USA, Samoa and Tonga and their warm-up games have included a 47-18 loss to Fiji last week.  That kind of result doesn't bode well for their World Cup campaign and a heavy defeat looks likely against Ireland.
