Indianapolis Colts go into the third week of the new season with a 1-1 record. That has placed them second in the AFC South behind Houston Texans but above Tennessee Titans with all three teams having a 1-1 record. Indianapolis had a 10-6 record last season and that was good enough to take them into the play-offs for the first time in five years. They made it through to the Divisional round but lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. This season began with a 30-24 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers. That match went into overtime, the Colts did well to get back into that game having trailed by 11 points at the halfway mark. Another tight struggle took place last week but this time the Colts edged their way to victory with a 19-17 home win over the Tennessee Titans. They led at half-time in that game, trailed after the third quarter but prevailed in the final to go 1-1 for the season.

Atlanta Falcons are also 1-1 for the season and are second behind Tampa Bay Bucanneers in the NFC South. The top three teams in that division are all on the 1-1 mark They had a 7-9 record for last season missing out on the play-offs. The first week of the new season saw them lose 28-12 to the Minnesota Vikings but they were victorious last weekend when beating the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20 at home winning the first three quarters and only losing the final one by a solitary point. Quarterback Matt Ryan put in a much better performance than he did the previous week. Indianapolis will put pressure on him in this game and they can be backed to get the win.
