The Indiana Pacers will welcome the New York Knicks for game six of their Eastern Conference semi-final playoff matchup. They are seeking to tie things up and force a game seven in New York. The Pacers were abysmal in game five at MSG. They are now facing elimination for the first time this postseason. Indiana tallied 91 points in game five, their lowest points total of these playoffs, and lost by 30 points. Rick Carlisle’s men had also handed the Knicks a similar heavy loss in game four. They won 121-89 to extend their unbeaten run at home in the postseason. The Pacers have won all five games in which they have been hosts in these playoffs. And extending back to the regular season, they have won their last 10 home games. Tyrese Haliburton continues to be on the injury report due to a back issue and is listed as ‘Questionable’. The Pacers are averaging 112.6 points in the postseason which is the best offensive record on 49% shooting from the field.

The Knicks are looking to wrap up this series in six games. They are yet to win on the road against the Pacers but have already done so in these playoffs. New York defeated the Sixers in six games in round one and twice won on the road including in game six. After suffering their biggest loss of the postseason in game four, New York dished out the same medicine in game five. That 30-point blowout was their biggest margin of victory in these playoffs. Tom Thibodeau's squad has suffered with injuries all season. For the third successive game, New York were without O.G Anunoby who is dealing with a hamstring issue. Mitchell Robinson also missed game five, his fourth successive match due to an ankle problem. The Knicks are averaging 110.6 points in the playoffs, the second best offensive rating, and are shooting 45.6% from the field. Victory in game six will see the Knicks advance to the conference final for the first time since 2000.
