The New York Knicks have made a great start to the new NBA season. They have a 5-2 record and look for another win at home to the Indiana Pacers who have won two out of eight. The Knicks are top of the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division, a win clear of Philadelphia, Toronto and Brooklyn. Overall, they are top of the Eastern Conference ahead of Chicago Bulls. The Knicks began the season with an over time home win over Boston. They then beat Orlando on the road but then lost to them at home Since then, there have been victories over Philadelphia at home and away successes at Chicago and New Orleans. They slipped up in their last game though losing to Toronto, mainly due to a 16 point loss in the third quarter.

It's not been a good season so far for Indiana Pacers. They are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference Central Division and also one from bottom in the conference. The Pacers have had four away games this season and lost all of them. Last season saw them fail to make the play-offs for the first time since 2015. That led to their head coach being sacked and former incumbent Rick Carlisle returning. It's not worked out so far with a 2-6 season record. They beat the San Antonio Spurs on Monday to make it 2-2 at home and get off the bottom of the table and conference. Away form is a big worry though and the Knicks can get the win here.
