Indiana was finally able to put an end to a three-game losing streak after picking up a 115-103 win over the Wizards last night. It was just their second win in the last seven and puts them three games below .500 on the year.

It’s certainly been an underwhelming start for the Pacers who made the Eastern Conference Finals last season. A large part of their struggles has stemmed from the team’s dropoff offensively.

The Pacers led the league in scoring last year at 121.6 points per game. In this campaign, however, they’ve seen that number drop to 114.5 points per contest.

It’s been a miserable start to the 2024/25 season for the Pelicans who are languishing in 15th-place in the West. They’ve managed to win only four of their 17 games and come into this contest following a 112-108 defeat to the Warriors.

The loss marked the fourth in a row for the Pels who have now recorded only a single victory in their last 11 appearances.
