With the group stage now done and dusted, India have lived up to the hype so far as tournament favourites, as they are the only team to have played and won all three matches to date.
The Men in Blue beat Bangladesh and Pakistan by six wickets each in their first two games before downing New Zealand by 44 runs on Sunday, ending the group stage with a net run rate of +0.715.
With those victories, India are now riding a six-match win streak in the 50-over format of the game that dates back to a 2-1 series defeat to Sri Lanka back in August last year.

Meanwhile, Australia’s route to the last four was not straightforward, as they only played a single full match, which they won against England, chasing down a mammoth 352 in their opening game.

After another impressive knock of 79 in 98 balls against New Zealand, Shreyas Iyer moved into the top five in the leading run-scorer standings in the competition, now on 150 runs in three innings.
However, the headlines in that match went to Varun Chakaravarthy, who took a five-wicket haul for just 42 runs, and he will be key to the side’s bowling attack on Tuesday.
Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli combined for just 28 runs in the last match!
While Australia have only completed one full match in the competition, Ben Dwarshuis has certainly caught the eye, having taken three wickets in each match he has featured in so far.
