Ilia Topuria will be featuring in his first title defence since that famous victory over Alexander Volkanovski back at UFC 298, a result that ended the Australian’s five-year reign.

That marked his third win in a row following victories over Jung Chan-sung and Arnold Allen. He is currently on his best run of results since going 13 in a row between 2014 and 2018.
‘Blessed’ relies heavily on volume striking and wearing his opponents down, and he will likely be favoured to win this bout the longer it goes on.
