Iga Swiatek vs Sofia Kenin Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA French Open

When this tournament began, few if any would have predicted this as the women's singles final. Sofa Kenin was fancied to get this far but the 19-year-old Pole Iga Swiataek wasn't. The world number 54 has shown promise on clay in her short career but she's surpassed all expectations at Roland Garros. Swiatek has won six matches and only lost 23 games. She's beaten two seeded players, Marketa Vondrousova (15) and Simona Halep (1) and lost just six games against those opponents. A lot of teenagers might lose their composure playing this deep in a Grand Slam. Swiatek has shown no sign of that at all and is unlikely to do so in this final.  The Pole has won seven ITF tournaments and this is her second final on the WTA cIrcuit, so she is no stranger to playing in finals.

Sofia Kenin has already won one Grand Slam this year. The American was successful in the Australian Open and now bids to get a second win under her belt. It's not been the easiest of routes to the final for Kenin. Only two of her six matches played on the way to this final have been straight sets wins. One of those was in the last four when she beat Petra Kvitova in two tough sets. This is her first time past the fourth round at Roland Garros and also her debut in a clay court final. This should be a competitive match, could Swiatek just hammer another top seeded player in a Grand Slam final?  The Polish teenager may well win this match, though Kenin does know how to win a Grand Slam final,
