The Pole takes on Martine Trevisen in the quarter final, who was 159 in the world when this tournament began. Swiatek has been in fantastic form at Roland Garros. That's even more impressive a statistic when you see she's had to face the 15th seeded Marketa Vondrousova (who won just four games) and the top seed and two-time former champion at Roland Garros, Simona Halep. Swiatek reached the last sixteen here last year, where she lost to Halep and won just one game.

The Italian had a tough draw there, losing in straight sets to Sofia Kenin, who went on to win the tournament. Trevisen has a good record on clay though with nine titles on the ITF Circuit and seven runners-up spots. This tournament has seen her beat Coco Gauff, 20th seeded Maria Sakkari and the fifth seeded Kiki Bertens, who she beat in straight sets. She's the underdog for this match but could well make life difficult for her opponent. Go for over 19.5 games to be played in this match.
