Australia - Namibia Predictions & Betting tips - ICC Men's T20 World Cup
by Devesh Jaganath |
Australia and Namibia will face off in match 24 of the 2024 T20 World Cup at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Wednesday morning. The Aussies are currently in second place in Group B while the Namibians are third. Group B has arguably been the most intriguing in the competition so far, with Scotland emerging as the unlikely leaders. Australia, though, are right behind them with a perfect two-for-two record and will regain the lead with a win here. The Baggy Greens began the competition with a solid 39-run victory over Oman and followed that up with a 36-run victory over England last week. Australia have now won five of their last six T20 internationals and it’s difficult to see them not qualify for the Super Eights. They also have an excellent record against associate nations, which sees them enter this contest as massive favourites at the books.
Meanwhile, regardless of what happens for the remainder of the competition, Namibia will look back at the 2024 T20 World Cup with fond memories. They began the tournament in the best way possible by securing their first-ever victory in a World Cup in the first-ever match, beating Oman in a nail-biting Super Over by 11 runs. The Eagles followed that up with another impressive performance against Scotland in game two, where they scored 155/9, with Gerhard Erasmus leading the way with 52(31) before putting in a stellar bowling performance of 2/29. Unfortunately, it was not enough, as the Scots managed to chase down the total in 18.3 overs. Still, the performance of the Eagles in this competition has certainly put them on the radar as a nation to watch in the coming years.

Our Australia - Namibia - ICC Men's T20 World Cup prediction
On paper, this is a complete mismatch and unsurprisingly Australia are very short-price favourite. As a result, we have to look for value elsewhere, and Adam Zampa looks a good shout after two very impressive outings. The Aussie spinner has taken two wickets in each of his matches so far, and being the side’s most recognised spin bowler means that he will almost certainly receive his full four-over allotment in most games. Our Australia vs Namibia prediction: Adam Zampa Over 1.5 Wickets.

Parimatch run for you money
This promotion is aimed at horse racing bettors, the second most popular sport behind football in the UK market for placing a bet on. The offer is valid on every race from the UK and Ireland which covers a large amount each week. If the horse that you have backed fails to come out of the stalls on the flat or whips around at the start of a jumps race then you receive your stake money back as you did not get a fair run for your money. This will not count if it is a bet that you have cashed out on but does apply to both singles and multiple bets with maximum refunds of £100 and £500 on those respectively. Horses can have off days and decide that they are not interested so it is a great way to add some peace of mind to your bets, even if it is not a cash refund that you will be receiving all that often.
