South Africa will look to join two more teams at the top with a third straight win when they come up against minnows Netherlands. This match #15 of the ICC ODI World Cup will be played at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday. South Africa are third with four points from two matches, while the Netherlands are eighth with zero points. South Africa started their tournament in the best manner possible, winning both their games comfortably. They slapped Sri Lanka by 102 runs before cruising past Australia by 134 runs to put themselves closer to the top. India and New Zealand made it three wins in a row and South Africa could be looking for a third win of their own. Flying under the radar for the tournament favourites tag, the Proteas can get closer to their objective of a semis berth with another win. Tough games against England, Pakistan, New Zealand, and India are scheduled over the next five games and hence South Africa would want to keep winning here.

The Netherlands have a happy memory of playing South Africa recently, having thumped them in the T20 World Cup. That was a sensational result for the Dutch, but in this format, they have been struggling all through. They lost both their games so far – to Pakistan by 81 runs and to New Zealand by 99 runs. There aren’t many expectations for the European minnows who are perhaps looking for just an upset or two in this tournament. Their batters did post three individual fifties in this edition, but the Netherlands have consistently struggled for batting dominance.
